September 2014 Publication in IEEE Access

In September 2014, a manuscript titled “Rectangular Fixed-Gantry CT Prototype: Combining CNT X-Ray Sources and Accelerated Compressed Sensing-Based Reconstruction”, which covers our Advanced Technology Computed Tomography System and our state-of-the-art reconstruction algorithms, was published in a special section of IEEE Access, Emerging Computed Tomography Technologies.  The article can be found here.

In April 2014, The Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at UNC Chapel Hill published an article in the Cancer Lines magazine title “New X-ray technology developed at UNC could revolutionize breast cancer detection” which highlights our stationary digital breast tomosynthesis system.  The article can be found here.

October 2013 Promising New Therapy in a Smaller Package

In October 2013 the University Of North Carolina in Chapel Hill published an article “Promising new therapy in a smaller package” describing UNC’s advances in microbeam radiation therapy based on XinRay technology. July 2010 Best Paper Published in Medical Physics

In July 2010, Frank Sprenger (second from right) from XinRay Systems was awarded theSylvia Sorkin Greenfield Award for the Best Paper Published in Medical Physics for the Calendar Year at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine in Philadelphia.

August 2009 Government Contract Award

On August 10, 2009, the US Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office awarded a contract to XinRay Systems to develop, test and evaluate advanced carbon nanotube multiple beam x-ray sources for use in high throughput baggage and cargo explosives detection systems. The link to the press release can be found here.
